Thank you for coming and helping/swimming/cheering/supporting for us. We hope you all enjoyed the meet. Looking down the results it seems that there were a large number of PBs, and quite a few county qualifying times, which is what it's all about, really.
A few more lines and a picture will hopefully appear here in a day or so.
Congratulations to:
Top Visiting Club: Amersham
Top Girl: Nicola Boyd
Top Boy: Alex Grey |

We have two County butterfly champions: Lizzy Gray and Adam Barrett.
Lizzy won through in the 50m and 100m fly (and took silver in 200m fly), whilst Adam brought home the 100m fly half a length ahead of the nearest comptitors, taking the 28 year old County record set in 1983.
We've also got the fastest 13-year old 100m and 200m breaststroke boy (Alex Cawthorne).
Well done to you all!

This is a low level meet and is designed for all those swimmers that aren't competing in the higher levels. You do not need to have times to enter although there are "too fast" times. There are 4 events (50m of each stroke) They encourage you to enter all 4 events and there is a discount for doing so. Basingstoke run an online entry system so you enter directly through their website and then send in the cheque directly to them. If you have any problems entering please let us know. You will need the Club code which is 'TILS'.
Simon will be at this meet and would like to see a lot of entries. That is everyone in Development and many JAG swimmers. |
